DAISY BUCKĖT Kansas City's Daisy Buckėt took to the spotlight in "The Girly Show" at Bar Natasha in 2006. Since then, she has gone on to win awards (The Pitch's "Best Cabaret Show 2007", "Best Vocalist 2008" Zoey Award), be crowned Queen of Kansas City Gay Pride 2008, and ran a year-long drag variety show at Sidekicks Saloon known as "Daisy's Twilight Madness". When she's not supporting local charities (the AIDS Service Foundation of Greater Kansas City, Passages LGBT Youth Center), she is touring the country as Trampolina in the Kinsey Sicks, America's Favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet. In 2011, Daisy was voted Best Drag Performer in The Pitch's Best of Kansas City. To date, Daisy's AIDS Walk team has raised over $40,000 for local HIV/AIDS organizations.
